Since our launch in 2008, Piranha AV have been evolving and developing our company focus and goals. This process has come to a very interesting point in the last few months and I thought I’d share with you some of where we’re at…
Firstly, we recognise how very blessed we have been in the incredible variety of jobs we have been a part of over the last 16 years. From school halls to the headquarters of Staffordshire police, it feels like we’ve been everywhere! We want to say thank you to our existing clients for choosing to start a relationship with us, and for many of you, becoming valuable friends of Piranha.
More recently though, things have taken an exciting turn in a slightly new direction.
Piranha’s goal has always been, and always will be, to facilitate education through the creation of innovative spaces for learning. As I said above, this has often taken us to school halls, performance spaces, boardrooms and conference suites, and now it’s taking us 500ft below ground!
This February, we began a much anticipated project in a slate mine, utilising audio and visual equipment to create an experience that guests won’t quickly forget. Our engineers are spending their days installing equipment in the beautiful surroundings of the preserved mining caves (and trying not to drill through any unstable rock!) It is our hope to continue working in the visitor attraction sector, partnering with some of the incredible attractions we have in the UK to create spaces where guests can be educated and entertained in equal measure.
So watch this space, that boring museum near you? It may just become a fully immersive environment with all the bells and whistles, if we can get our hands on it.
